It’s a matter (I believe) whether or not to accept responsibilities. The responsibilities of the father to his children, from religious leaders to their believers and not excluding political leaders to the people and their representatives.
Groups and humans beings that are the “guide“, an example to follow, a path and an illuminating light. They have a role as long as they have life. But not everyone accepts this, not all of them accepts the weight of this role, nor were they all, nor they will be able to be victorious in the face of adversity and the satisfactory execution of their responsibilities.
Parents who ignore the charge of conscience generated by their actions. Religious leaders who break loyalty and fail in moral attitude to the social group of which they are part. Political leaders who sow their professional and moral ethics in the desert terrain to give themselves into cynicism and corruption.
Perhaps a religious would say -just put your trust in God-. But is not God placing and extracting these people in a planned way throughout your life? Or will God use them in their best time of lifes and then let’em corrupt themselves and so that they are later replaced?
They are human, they could fail, they WILL fail.
They can (will) make mistakes and may even regret it by not meeting the expectations placed on them. In the same way, we are humans who observe by looking upwards. Perhaps, we do not all agree to follow these people who have been placed in our lives, perhaps yes. The clearest and most inevitable is to assume that we too could have made mistakes and that as the “ones above” make mistakes and fail, we who follow them, we can feel disappointed, reconsider it and continue on another path.
Yes, we can change the guide, change the path, take another route to the course that you are already clear and that you could not reach now because you were wrong to choose your guide.
